Wow, that was sure a trip down memory lane! All the old rivalries are kind of making me nostalgic... Well, as they say, money talks and bull**** walks. And looking back now, we know which has been which here. But definitely I'd agree that what someone plausible-sounding (who's been around for a while) says on a stock board can influence people's minds. Why else would we read these things? Also, on the percentage of portfolio discussion, I've heard two schools of thought: 1. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. 2. Do put all your eggs in one basket, and then watch that basket very, very carefully!
