You probably took the ACT, not the SAT. I don't remember how high the scores went, but 31 overall was around the 90th percentile, I think. Some schools used to want ACT scores. Don't know if they still give that one.

Edit: I stand corrected, 31 overall is 98 percentile, not too shabby.

Ish, I took the ACT also. Did you get a lot of brochures and applications following the test? I think my score was just under yours, and I got 'em from every school in Illinois. Went to the closest one so I could drive home every day. If I knew everything I know today, I would've done some things different. But no relatives of mine had ever graduated from college and I was green as grass.
