I thought Tyco did the right thing when they announced the formal SEC investigation. They didn't have to do it, did they?

I've read that the SEC never tells the public when it investigates a company.

Do you feel comfortable with Tyco? I thought about buying shares awhile back.

If the Street is really so worried about accounting practices, take a look at the much hyped etailers that are counting inflows equal to the value of coupon discounts as revenue.
