Infowave Software Update (TSE:IW)

Golden Capital Issues a Price Target of $25

On December 8, 1999, Golden Capital Analyst J. Marlowe
revised his projections, giving Infowave a price target of $25
based on Infowave's joint marketing alliance with Bell Atlantic
Mobile, the growth projections for the wireless data industry
and the valuations currently being placed on Infowave's
peers.

"Although Infowave has appreciated considerably over the
last month and a half, the stock still has considerable upside,"
said Mr. Marlowe. "When viewed alongside other wireless
companies such as Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM),
Phone.com (NASDAQ:PHCM) and Aether Systems
(NASDAQ:AETH), which all have multi-billion dollar valuations
despite their relatively small - but rapidly growing - revenues,
Infowave has considerable room to grow as its products
penetrate the market."

Infowave also recently announced that it has entered into a
joint marketing agreement with Bell Atlantic Mobile
(NYSE:BEL), the largest wireless service provider on the East
Coast, to enhance Bell Atlantic's suite of wireless data and
Internet services through data compression, optimized web
browsers and Microsoft Outlook/Exchange applications.

"Providing wireless access to corporate and enterprise data
has always been an important market for Bell Atlantic Mobile
and teaming up with Infowave offers us another avenue of
distribution in this key market," said Robert Hirsh, executive
director of Wireless Data Sales and Marketing for Bell Atlantic
Mobile. "In fact, our wireless Internet customers are both our
largest data customer segment, and fastest growing as well."

On December 10, Infowave announced that it has joined the
Phone.com Alliance Program to deliver valuable tools and
highly leveraged sales and marketing programs to its members
as well as providing direct access to Phone.com's wireless
carrier and device manufacturer partners.

"Infowave already delivers compelling and robust wireless
solutions to corporations and we are delighted to see them
bringing that enterprise expertise to Phone.com-enabled
wireless phones," says Phone.com's Director of Developer
Marketing Kathy Simpson. "The corporate market has very
specific wireless application needs and we are happy to be
working with Infowave, a company who focuses on this
market."
