I'm an Apple person and I'm very satisfied with the way it handles. I, also, do not know too much about Linux but, I think, it is more stable than either Apple or Windows. Presumably, Apple is more stable than Windows-that's what I hear.

Based on my experience, Linux will be used only on some fraction of servers and by a small fraction of software developers. I don't believe it will ever be adopted as an operating system for end users by businesses or by the word-processing, spreadsheet calculating, presentation-preparing public. IMHO, Microsoft is a far superior investment to RedHat, VA Linux, or any other purveyor of Linux.
