No, I didn't mean to imply that TSE was syrupy -- only that the other extreme, if not carefully done, could be. Certainly The Wasteland is anything but syrupy.

I like Pope -- he reminds one of simpler times, IMHO. Times when things were (appeared to be?) more clearly defined.

As usual, I know nothing about what the market will do -- I'm a lot like Sgt. Schultz on Hogan's Heroes in that regard. If Barron's is festive, I would probably take that as a bad sign.

I doubt I will attend the Sun get together unless it's rescheduled to coincide with the annual meeting. (Or the venue changed to Austin. <g>)

I sprained an ankle on Friday, so am not having a very good weekend.

I note that on the Dell thread they're calling for the resignation of Michael Dell. What a difference a year makes!
