My opinion of these so-called Christian counselors are that they are nothing more than humanistic psychologists with a sprinkle of "Bible flavoring"

I think they are very dangerous:

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

A continuity of principle not exegetical license or is it :-}

I have heard of some ridiculous advice coming from so-called Christian counselors.

Many of them very quick to pull the divorce solution out of the bag. Also heard of one that suggested a little pornography to put a little spice back in the sexual side of a couple's marriage.

Jesus said:

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

I am teaching a marriage course at my house once a month and tonight is the night so not much time to post.

I plan to do eschatology next .. I'll bet you would like that one but you likely live far from the great white north.

God bless.. Perhaps you need to reload you browser period or try booking on from someone elses machine.
