sandpiper as i understand it, has had a technology alliance with sunw that dates back long before isld got a gleam in its corporate eye. the server deal with sun cannot be considered a sales/profit issue alone. if anything, technology requirements suggest sun as a sole source based on sandpiper's secret sauce. check past news and sandpiper.com
