Tekboy,

Another QQQ refugee is Merlin's beloved Fastenal. What sayeth the magician? Is he still nuts? :0)

All nuts and bolts. :)

Seriously, I've got a little bit of a dilemma about that. If my gorilla and potential gorillas don't retrench substantially to levels of three to six months ago, I have several non-tech stocks such as Fastenal that now make up such a small percentage of my portfolio that it's not worth the time required to maintain an understanding of their fundamentals. If one of the non-tech companies went bankrupt or doubled tomorrow, the change in value of my portfolio would be no more than a typical day's change.

I'm thinking very seriously of reducing my portfolio to about six gorillas or potential gorillas. My first step is to sell Rainforest Cafe and think more about my portfolio strategy.
