Tony, I would agree with the term "bashing". While I generally have no problem with Bob, he obviously dislikes the stock. Why is Intel a trading stock? From Dec. 9, 1994 until Dec. 8, 1999 Intel is up 851.12%. AMAT, which Bob loves, is up 962%. In fact the two trade places every so often as to whom provides the most gain, but generally Intel is the leader. While it is true, that Intel is volatile, an investor buying and holding Intel earned a 851.12 percent profit. Further, a comparison of the two charts show that AMAT appears to be more volatile. Intel is hardly a mere trading stock. Now if Bob wants to dwell on he past year, I submit that Intel often goes into a price hibernation prior to periods of explosive price growth. It's just how you look at the data. This link should confirm my numbers. Just add Amat for comparison.

Tony, doesn't it strike you strange that bob brinker talks about intel from feb to present but all other stocks ytd?

I think he makes up the scenario to fit what he has said in the past.

Bob Brinker's been down on Intel for months and turns out was pretty much right to be so.
