Engaged in operating pay-TV system, providing Internet Access through dial-up modem and high-speed cable modem in HK. The Group is the only pay-TV system operator in HK. At end of Septermber 1999, the Group served over 430,000 pay-TV subscribers, representing approximately 26% of the total number of homes in HK with access to cable television. In March 1999, the Group started to offer Internet access through dial-up telephone modems, and served over 70,000 subscribers as of 30th September 1999. In early 2000, the Group expects to launch high-speed Internet access service using cable modem technology.
