*1) What market share does Vari-L have today with their VCOs in handsets? What are the projections for 2000, 2001 and 2002 marketshare increase for Vari-L*

Your questions are nebulous at best. No one knows. The first part of the question has already been answered many many times. Do some reading . . . :-)

*2) Who are the other competitors and their market share ( e.g. Murata and Alps from Japan ? )*

Thats basically all. As I have said, no one will compete well at the 3G order level.

*3) What costs are being used for revenue and earnings projections with the VCOs ( e.g. ~$2 per VCO at X % margin )*

I detailed this in Feb. through Jun. The posts back then are very informative. You should read them.

*4)One of the articles state 220 million handsets being produced worldwide this year and 1 billion by 2000, if these numbers are correct, what impact will it have on Vari-L's bottom line for earnings.*

We are looking for 350MM in handsets next year. 70MM minimum CDMA. Two VCOs per handset - you estimate market share. Again, I detailed this in my early posts this year. Read them.
