To all my fellow longs on C.M.G.I.:

Interesting comparisons of the two dominant v.c. incubators for internet stocks:

ICGE: mkt cap 28.5 billion, P / E multiple of 6,426 ( !!! - beyond insane by any standards ),a short history and a completely speculative future.

CMGI: mkt cap 22.5 billion, P / E multiple of 47 ( that's reality - and very cheap compared to even the safest tech stock plays like CSCO, SUNW, etc ),a proven track record of exponential growth and synergy between its companies, and the impending Alta Vista IPO which will add the better part of between 5 - 11 billion $ ( projected A.V. market cap, end of first day trading ) to its yr. 2000 profits.

Shouldn't CMGI be valued MUCH HIGHER than ICGE ? I think it will be soon: $ 250 on announcement of the split, $ 300+
leading up to the Alta Vista I.P.O. Your thoughts ?

OT I agree with your statement. Investing in CMGI is a learning experience every day. Some days full of greed, somedays fear. It is best to just buy and hold and don't look at it. I was busy with the development of my website and school. And didn't really pay attention to YHOO AOL CMGI ATHM(not doing that great), and boy I was so surprised and elated. the shorts are in pain, that's a fact. I was in pain when CMGI crashed, now the shorts deserve every stinking dollar they have lost betting against the power of the internet. I have bought more ATHM, now picking on some Wireless companies, Networking, Fiber-Optical, and Semiconductor stocks to round out my "Clueless Internet Portfolio".

From now on, no more outburst or unnecessary comments from me.

To the person that ignored me: so be it, why waste precious bandwidth to post that. Way out of line there.
