I don't believe statistics, I haven't forged myself.

According to a strategist Microsoft employee in Redmond, the day when one single Windows server can do 24-hours duty without interruptions has not been reached yet with Windows 2000. Maybe in 2-4 years, Microsoft can do 24-hour service with only one server, like Unix, Linux and other big-iron stuff has done for years.

In Europe, companies who started to do Internet using the Microsoft platform are struggling to get onto better platforms in order to increase availability and lower costs.

Don't expect too much Windows 2000 on web-sites right now. There's a reason for SI to be on Sun Solaris.
