I agree. Would certainly prefer knowing the exact date. One can explain that there might be slippage and if it is not possible to meet on one date you just announce the next scheldued date also subject to slippage.

There are at least two self serving reasons for not releasing the date. One is that the date is much farther off than people think. March or April. And another which is that the price of the stock in theory is better supported by a non announcement. Yes, if they said we meet on Jan 18, people could tax sell and do a host of other things, not buy, short with less fear, etc. But leaving it open makes one think about buying sooner, not shorting etc. because the event could happen at any moment. Did they do it for these reasons or am I just projecting my own "evil" ideas?
