There are children in "kid zone" at my daughter's school from 6 am (when they open) until after 6pm. I see them being led to class when I walk my daughter to her class and at night- when I am at school to co-lead my daughter's girl scout troop I see them being picked up. Several kindergartners from my youngest daughters class are in kid zone. I can't imagine what their day is like. I know 8:30 to 11:45 is PLENTY of time for my 5 year old to be away. She can't wait to come home.

Having a baby and getting it to day care don't make you a mommy. Time with your child makes you a mommy. I feel very sorry for mother's who can't stay home with their children (for economic reasons) and want to and I have NO idea why women who don't want to CARE for their children have them.
