For you Joan I will grant a special dispensation. For the rest of the women in the world I say, if you can't raise your own kid then don't have one. In your day and my day abortions were not readily available. We had to live with our "mistakes". That is not the case today. There is no valid excuse for a woman to get pregnant today unless she wants to. And if she wants to get pregnant she should take the responsibility of raising the child herself and not hand it off to a total stranger. What is the point of having a baby if you are going to pay someone else to raise it, THEIR way, during the most influential five years of the child's life? Small children NEED their mothers. Why not buy a Labrador Retriever instead?
