I think one thing that is overlooked by the politicians looking to "protect the investing public" is the fact that daytrading is not investing at all. Its a business. Like almost every other business out the odds are stacked against you. Unlike most businesses the cost of entry is fairly low. I deal with a lot of traders each day and I find the ones who take thetime to review the available resources (Mtrader, Pristine, TradeHard, Hard Right Edge,this SI thread) to name but a few have a higher success rate than they would in other business activities.Its simply a matter of approaching this as a business and working hard like any other business person does. Brandon Ps. I hope my reference to Mtrader is not considered to be in bad taste as they distribute my chatroom. The point is that there are a great many references out there for those who are serious about trading.
