Arnold, I used to be quite the same way. But I tend to roll the dice with only half my stocks, keeping the other half in what I consider conservative stocks. Posts such as yours remind me that that is what my risk tolerance is. No top? YIKES!!! <gg>

Arnold, your observations are correct. We're all seeing the same thing. There's a few stocks that are moving and if you want to play, that's been the only game. Historically, as fewer stocks are involved in a market rally, the rally fizzles.

I moved over to the sidelines with most of my money because I don't like the present risk/reward ratio...particularly in the techs. I've been saying this for over a week now, and I've been wrong so far.

I think that tax selling season is about done and that a move from techs over to value plays will close out the year. I've also been saying this for over a week now and haven't been right.
