No, Mike, I don't mind if you don't read the article I cited. I do hope some people who have been discussing this do, however, because it is interesting and quite specific. Of course, when I criticize Wal-Mart or Home Depot for deliberately destroying businesses and then raising prices, or express views that are not totally libertarian, or argue that societies have an interest in preserving small towns, you might be at a disadvantage in the argument (should you pursue it).

What is the use of a bond fund in the technology driven market? Aren't they a bit outmoded as an investment? I understand many financial experts no longer even recommend that some monies be held in bonds, because over time they produce so little income. Junk bond funds are a little more risque, however. I remember having a bit of fun with them in the wild '80s.
