No hard feelings here. I am sure you are a very good mother, and so is X, and so is Rambi, and so is Joan, etc., etc. There's more than one way to rear a healthy, happy child, as long as the child is in a safe environment, with a stable, nurturing relationship with the caretakers. My own mother worked when I was little (to put my father through college and dental school), but my grandmother, and the long-term caretakers and I had good relationships. I was lucky to have several strong, nurturing women who loved me, not just my mother, IMO.

I feel a bit vehement about this because Lizzie doesn't have children, but I know she is very loving to animals, which is a good sign.
