No thanks needed. They are appreciated though. My way of repaying for the insights I've gotten in the 2+ years on SI

We share the same thoughts. I remember reading the Barron's article with him a few years back and thinking that Lampert definitely had his stuff together. After his speech at the II Forum (I listened on VCall) I was duly impressed. I definitely think he should be followed.

1) I still have to figure out how his partnerships and trading entities are set up. He seems to register under 3 different entities within the same filings. It is difficult to see where he is at exactly because some numbers repeat with different entities.

EX. (i) Biotechnology Value Fund,L.P. "BVF")
(ii) BVF Partners L.P. "Partners")
(iii) BVF Inc. ("BVF Inc.")

In this filing he's has the same exact holding in each fund. (ii & iii)

If anyone is familiar with how the filing process works, I'm open to suggestions. When he files the Quarterlies, I believe that they show combined figures for all the funds.

P.S. Whoever his head trader is...he/she deserves one hell of a year end bonus for getting out of 1M+ shares of a thinly traded stock like NPSP. (Unless it was a forced liquidation a la Amerindo).

Rick,
Why do you think Lampert liquidated his holdings in NPSP.
