By thinking "clearly" I am talking about "spiritual" context only. If Jesus told a spiritual leader of his day (a pharisee, which Nicodemus was) that he needed to be "born again" in order to understand the spiritual, then certainly it would apply to the rest of us as well.

As far as the historical evidence, I am talking about the fact that much more has been written about Jesus from various sources throughout the early centuries than others such as Caesar. I don't remember the context of my original post, only that "evidence" proved a "real" Jesus existed as much or more so than others. People are willing to believe the history of the Caesars even though less has been written. For example: To start there are four different authors who wrote about Jesus as eye or near eye witnesses. The fact that over the years these biographies were put in one book (the bible) doesn't make it a conspiracy or illusion or whatever that some would say in order to downplay the historical figure of Christ.

Lo, WOW! If somebody writes a book you think they are great. No matter the message that so impressed so many others that THEY were compelled to write the books. Monica Lewinsky wrote a book. Karl Marx wrote a book. Hitler wrote a book. BIG DEAL! TD
