Michael, I am almost off, but I wanted to post a general observation-----There are studies that show that children are at risk from day care: should we make it illegal for mothers to work? There are studies that show a strong correlation between fatherlessness and various pathologies: should we make Murphy Brown a criminal, and force her to marry? If we think the Amish are backwards and benighted, should we take their children? How about sparing the children of New Agers? No, it is fundamental that we do not easily decide to interfere in family life........
