A new site that should be good when open. marketbug.com. .
OT: REITS look very interesting. Quality REITS yeilding 10% or 400 basis pts. above treasuries vs. normal 200 BP. Supply demand is great. Lots of conservative types bought these the past year for safety away from the "overpriced and risky market". They have seen the market soar, and the "safe" REITS get trounced. Now it is Dec. and decision time. A fair number are throwing in the towel and writing the loss off on taxes [ample supply]. On the demand side, who is interested in REITS in a soaring market of huge individual gains, especially when REITS continue down?. So this brings us to a situation of supply without demand. Of course supply and demand always meet...at a price. The current prices I find very attractive and a source for recycling some good High Flyer gains. thanks, Mike
