Gustave, thanks for taking up my invitation to speak. However I'd like to address some minor inconsistency, or is it misunderstanding, as people might be misled to take you rword about me as mine. It is not me who said labeled Europe a Christian club first but you - leaning on a concept of the previous German chancellor and his French colleague.
I am with you that it is not Christianity that the European Union should (or could) define itself by, and I would greet Turkey as a member of Euroland, even if it weren't an economic success, what prospects I can't judge, but only a humanitarian one - if Turkey would embrace humanitarian purposes more tightly than up to now in purchase of economic development - that would be more than fine with me.
As far as I know, Franco and Salazar were not permitted into the EU ...
which makes EU look more like a club for the enhancement of saturated-middle-class-democracies-with-a-high-level-of-social-security than a Christian one.

I think you noted that the fascist and quasifascist parties from Austria, Belgium, France and Italy have no counterpart in Germany that would be comparable in size and influence - a situation that is persistent since long already. Let's hope this malign foreign influences (FPO, VB, FN, ...) won't reign over so easily.

I think you announced your being into that book already months ago - why is it that your interest died out prematurely? The later the sentence n your post, the more I did agree to it - but please don't use that as a licence to put words in my mouth...

Regards, and returns of your greetings, MNI
