Funny about that... A friend's son wanted to do the same thing... He began his studies, then quit and changed to a different program after a lot of people told him there was *no money* in that line of work. He graduated, worked for 2 years at city jobs that he hated, saved up his money and is now back studying to be a fisheries biologist...

BTW, I saw all of this coming from a mile off... When this kid told me what he wanted to study, I said "Go for it". When I heard why he had decided to change programs, I just groaned...

Working in cities isn't for outdoors people who grow up spying on deer from a tree fort in the forest, or paddling around in a canoe during every free moment... Money sure doesn't mean too much when you're stuck in some office in the city more than a hundred miles away from the nearest good creek...;-}>
