Lorare,
Just because most of the sources concerning Jesus are from the "religious" doesn't necessarily make it less credible. Look at the "history" books written for the schools and then ask yourself why things are constantly being updated ie some things are being added and other things are being deleted. This "changing" is all being done by the non-religious, unless of course you're willing to recognize the "liberal" side can be considered a sort of religion also.

actually there were other non-christian sources. Josephus, I believe Pliny the Younger, there was even a, I believe it was
a greek author, writting in the 1st century who hated the new christian cult and tried to explain Jesus's miracles as
magic he learned in Egypt. My point is I've
read several books that list a bit more then three non-christian historical sources.
Just as an aside, I like reading this
thread but it disturbs me when it devolves into
"flaming" and inflammatory comments. I'm not
preaching at anyone. I just dont think your ever gonna argue someone into a christian point of view. I learned that lesson the hardway.

Lo, here's a religious source for the existence of Jesus. In the Koran, Jesus is called the "word of God". That sounds like a good bit more than just a prophet.

If Islam is so strong for preaching piece, how do you explain that Afghanistan, an Islamic nation, willfully harbors on international terrorist like Bin Laden, and protects him from attack? all he does is kill innocent Americans and Jews, just because they are Amercans and Jews. They never did anything to him. He claims he is following the will of Allah. How do you explain Islamic leaders like Khadafi? A murderer and terrorist if there ever was one.

We can't prove the truth of the Bible, and you can't prove the truth of the Koran. If you insist on worshipping Mohammed, why do members of the Islamic faith try to keep us from worshipping Jesus?

Why do Islamic husbands cut a way the labia of their wives? Maybe they don't believe they are man enough to keep them any other way. If you want to talk Islam, go to, or start, an Islamic thread. I, most certainly, will not come over there and harass you so, leave me, and mine, alone. TD
