Its possible; could also be that MB manufacturers are doing a better job cranking them out than AMD anticipated. After all, AMD promised to buy all unsold MBs, so they may have decided to crank them out 24 hrs/day, 7 days/wk., more than meeting demand (and more and 1.2mu's).

As for Intel, they specifically mentioned yield problems with Coppermine. They also went on to explain that no, they are not having problems getting copper out of their mines.
