Greg, re: "The last mile" Those communities wired with coax will have problems back to and including the "Head End." One of the reasons that companies providing fibre are hot in today's market. But installing fibre is expensive, disruptive, and takes a long time. Inner cities like DC are in the process, but the impact on the infrastructure is causing all kinds of issues.
