I can guarantee you that no matter what CSCO announces there will always be doubters. And, you will always be in that camp. Terrabit routers have been announced by very few companies (LU included) but they are not in wide deployment - CSCO is not late - so it's not "about time"... it's right on time. Furthermore it looks to me like the GSR12000 has perhaps the best scalability on the market. Pretty nice little router - coming from the market leader. I think that rasies the bar. Don't you?

BR,

If you recognized the difference of CSCO OC192 offering with
LU and NT ones. CSCO is offering OC-192C interface which is
a true oc192 data stream. LU and NT was announcing which they
have not delivered yet, OC192 interface which combine 4
stream of OC48C. This is a big difference.
