MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Mar 19, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Digital
Video Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DVID) today announced that the backlog for
delivery in March 2000 has exceeded $10 million, the highest in the
Company's records. Although most businesses and government offices in
China were closed for about two weeks to observe the Chinese New Year,
orders for the Company's DVD products have surged since late February.
DVS' Co-chairman and CEO Ms. Kuo stated, "I believe we are going to
make a new record of sales in March."
