FWIW- I don't think loving parents who spank their kids are going to endanger most of them- but there are a lot of parents who do not realize they are sick. Those are the parents who kill and injure their kids when they are "disciplining" them. If a blanket law that intruded on everyone would actually save those children than I think I am for it. You have to realize I was beaten as a child and no one interfered. I don't think any child should have to live like that. I intend to read more about Sweden- but if that data is correct than I would have to support a ban on corporal punishment.
