I would like to add that the coming change to accounting regulations being pushed by the SEC that would prevent companies like EBAY and PCLN from reporting gross rather than net revenues could also play a factor.

On timing, the way I see it, I'm still on track from the above post. I think the market will continue to trudge along till the new year. The lack of Y2K disaster will prompt a post new years euphoric rise that will mark definitively the pre-burst overblown bubble period (the last hurrah). The psychological let-down following this will trigger the blowoff along with the first sequentially lower revenue period in 1Q:00 for many a high-flying net stock. If I had to put an exact date to it, I would say Thurs. Feb 17.
