SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION MOVES 65,000 USERS CLOSER TO AN E-Government
Office

WASHINGTON, DC, Dec 13, 1999 /CNW-PRN via COMTEX/ -- JetForm(R)
Corporation (Nasdaq: FORM, TSE: JFM), the global leader in workflow and
e-forms, today announced a $2 million agreement with Softmart, Inc. of
Downingtown, PA., to provide the United States Social Security
Administration with the ability to convert all paper-based forms to
e-forms processes using JetForm's FormFlow technology. The move will
affect all of the Social Security Administration's 65,000 workstations
across the entire enterprise.

"The Social Security Administration is an innovator. Because they have
direct contact with the largest number of citizens of any government
agency, it is extremely important to them to service those people the
most efficiently way they can. Their commitment to leading edge
technology is indicative of the larger trend - the evolution towards
electronic business processes," said Andrew Jackson, senior vice
president of marketing for JetForm. "We look forward to supporting
Softmart and the Social Security Administration's initial project
towards a e-government system totally based on e-forms and e- process
and its continued growth over the years."

Copies of most Social Security Administration press releases as well as
other Social Security information and statistics are available at the
Social Security Administration's Internet site, Social Security Online,
