Enots, both are right. The conference begins tomorrow (Tuesday) but the actual Exhibit Hall doesn't open until Wednesday morning : cct-assn.org Jeff, as I see it there are four important parts to this new capability: (1) Indication by customer to save a program for delayed viewing (either in advance or on the spot - two user interfaces), (2) Real-time encoding of the desired program at the indicated time, (3) VOD playback of the program at a later date/time, and (4) Management of user's personal storage of programs. I don't think the capacity of any of these parts is out of reach for other server vendors; you "just" need to write all the software, interfaces, and STB<-->Server handshaking to put it all together. Being first (to my knowledge) with something like this is I think more important here. And certainly it strengthens the case for VOD in general.. (not that it needs much further strengthening!)
