fwiw, the big bucks aren't on the PTT/Carrier long haul circuits...they are in delivery and infrastructure supporting the roll-out of residential broadband.

What I think you fail to see is that even if Cisco loses in the rebuild of the telecom infrastructure, the stock price will still appreciate significantly because Cisco will still quadruple revenues. No matter how you slice it, the losers in this market for the next 3-5 years will still be winners because the market is so huge.

Then in addition to that, Cisco is full of bright people that work their asses off. It's a tough battle ahead, but Cisco will make progress. Will they lead? Who cares? I just want them to take even a minor stake in the coming deployments and the stock price will do great.
