if a bunch of exds customers go belly up, all their gear goes on the market. maybe exds offers this stuff to the succesful companies at a substantial discount. the succesful .com would normally buy new stuff from s.c.

the pretenders.com no longer will pay exds an annutiy ( which is built into the wall street models ). And the pretenders.com no longer will be there to buy new stuff from s.c. And in addition, the marginal buyer of Internut equipment ( the .com that gets venuture then IPo money ) won't be there either when the boom ends.

what i am essentially saying is that there will be CONSEQUENCES in the marketplace for wall street funding 500 dot coms whose sites you and i and jc will never visit in a million years.

now i think its obvious u don't see CONSEQUENCES to this boom. so lets just disagree. we'll have to wait a while to see how it all unfolds.

think supply and demand and consequences to the boom
