Good points! I also do not think that Niles is responsible for DELL stock price action. Niles is not the axe on PC stocks. Katinetz is the axe.

It is clear that a lot of mutual funds got out of DELL in the early part of the year. The MF seem to be responsible for much of the behavior of the parabolic stocks. When the Mutual funds begin to increase their holdings of DELL then the stock price will no doubt rise.

john...with all due respect to your comments..

dell tumbled on 2/17/99........as did the whole sector. gerstner declared the pc dead........but the rest of the sector in time through strategic press campaigns reinvented themselves and have moved from the earlier lows....dell flat line....

are you satisfied with the announcements made by dell corporate since 2/17?...how sad, they claim they have the ultimate web pc, and cannot get it out in front of the retail buyer during the big season...

people quote chapter and verse on what dell could do.....other then being an extremely efficient assembler, what may they be hiding up their sleeve, other then their arm?

p.s...ms carly had her stock tumble from 112 to 71 due to the earthquake...how did she get it back? she created a positive image going forward.

common sense......if dell had a positive image going forward would not the stock be higher? that's what the market is about, oft times a disconnect from the reality of the underlying entity....i can only profit(and i have tremendously) from the stock!
