The costs associated with using the ATM varies around $.5 - $1.5 /transaction. My transaction sizes are $50-$200 : -> Premium ~0.3% I consider the cost reasonable based on the alternative of searching or not finding a home bank. If you were to take out $3, with a $1 cost, would you be so inclined? Note that it is free for employers to direct deposit into financial institutions, but the reverse requires premium... I would love to understand the CKFR business model.
