Hey, I see I have a good group of Midway buffs on this thread! Tom Clancy has said he want's to do a Novel on Midway, has some new info, he claims, that will be interesting. I don't know how he can better the job Herman Wouk did in "War and Remembrance". Guess I will have to figure out a way to work someone from the action off Samar, during the Battle of the Philippines, into the Quillionare count. I consider the fight that Ziggy Sprague's DE's put up against the Japanese Batdiv there to the finest action fought by American Surface ships during WWII.
