Cameron, your right about the order matching, if more orders were to come in after close then they would match up. "Also... what was that about having to phone before 4:00?? You should be able to get an order taken right up to 5:00 (allowing a few minutes for entry of course)." EDIT: I have Just called MAtt and the correct answer is: From 4:05 Pm to 5:00Pm is after hours trading which means: 1) you must call in the order , the Web trading will not work for after hours. 2) the sell or buy can only be executed at the last BID / ASk when market closed 3) there must be available quantity at the BID or Ask to meet your demand. A partial fill is possible if there is not enough Qty to meet the full order. See , I learned something new tonight, This thread is great because it allows us to dig deeper into issues and get them resolved so that there are no misunderstandings. Vitalsigns
