Darrell: "Once this word hits, how will the street react..."

My guess is that the IDC's market capitalization (& share price) will become what it ought to be....approaching QCOM.

When for the first time I bought into IDC at around $5+ (and I have been adding since...), I was surprised at how cheap it is, given the fundementals & prospects. At this pace, I am fairly sure, that we will have a Gorilla on our hand---i.e., assuming the rumors about buyout does not pan out. A buyout is clearly against the interest of the long-term investors who appreciate visionary companies and hold on for true appreciation in the long-run.

kind regards,

ManX

Corpgold re: Fidelity & Mutual fund interest in IDC

You posted yesterday: "Did you also hear from the floor that IDC met with two influential mutual fund managers in the past two weeks who have been added IDC to their portfolio? Once this word hits, how will the street react..."

With that in mind, I have been particularly interested in finding that visitors from the Fidelity Investments corporate site have been visiting the www.TelecomTechStocks.com site (where IDC is the current "Focus Stock") in recent days.

Do you suppose Fidelity Funds managers were involved in the meetings with IDC last week? Perhaps their Telecommunications Fund (FSTCX) or their Developing Communications Fund (FSDCX)?

Or perhaps they are doing some DD prior to conferring with IDC?

I don't recall seeing a Fidelity presence at the telecomtechstocks.com site before last week.

Obviously the big boys have been accumulating or we would not see anything like the volume we've experienced in the past 4 weeks.

Bill

PS- Your post yesterday at Raging Bull B is certainly worth reposting:

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME Rip Tilden has publically admitted that IDC's IPR position will result in substantial revenue going forward. FIRST TIME!

If that doesn't cause more new investors current and would be to turn and notice...

IDC is speaking with a considerable number of potential licensees; some, it is said, are already in.

Kiernan is leading the main IEEE standards committee, NEC is going full ahead TDMA in the U.S., fixed Broadband CDMA is being given a new lease with the standards committees, and IDC has a significant number of patents applicable to both 2g and 3g CDMA systems which will result in announced revenue positive production within the few weeks (an estimation).

The GSM to WCDMA software interface will play a significant positive role in IDC's future.
