But I disagree that Citrix is a gorilla.

I never wrote that Citrix is a gorilla. I wrote that it is playing a gorilla game, not a royalty game. The proprietary, open architecture is their ICA.

Telling you that explains why I think it's a gorilla game. Tell me why you think it's a royalty game if that's what you think.

If Ctxs is indeed dependent upon Msft's goodwill (I thought I read that this was no longer true but am not sure) then it cannot be a gorilla...others have to be dependent upon IT.
Perhaps a king then, in its own special niche.
Or maybe just a good investment that has to be watched more carefully.
Or maybe time will tell like it does, anyway.
