Sure you can always find more expensive.
My point with the Dell's offer was to demonstrate that even Joe sixpack can buy the most expensive whike remaining in a "reasonable" range of price.

5000$ is not affordable for him. We (Rambus investors) are more interested (at least me) in seeing PCs allowing a wide distribution in the main stream market because this is the only way to be successful with this stock;
