The SEC filings for Insider sales just hit a site I use.
I know we are not supposed to worry when the "insiders" sell, but this is a pretty impressive list.

The sale dates range from nov 8 to Nov. 23. Sale price range from $187 to $246.

What is startling to me is the titles and the number
CEO,SR VP DIR, CFO,OFF for a total of 12 sellers.

Maybe they are just going to be issued more, but golly they don't seem to want to wait till next year for some reason.

Surely it isn't all going to be used for xmas shopping.

RE: "JDSU chart has been nowhere as healthy as QCOM was during it's correction."

On the contrary -- the JDSU and QCOM charts are almost identical.

For another thing, there has been no "correction" in either stock. All that has happened is that both stocks climbed from the bottom of their long-term channels through the top. They are now resting on top of the old channel. This price movement is nothing but bouncing back and forth inside the new channel -- perfectly normal and nowhere near enough to be called a correction.

Also, I have disappointing news for all the conspiracy theorists who have popped up here. Nobody is manipulating this stock. All this is normal market action. Nobody is "shaking the tree", or anything else. The market cap of both these companies is far too large for that. The good news (earnings, split, & publicity) brought forth new buyers that bid up the stock. Both JDSU and QCOM jumped to new valuations. Once those buyers got their stock, it settled back to the previous growth rate.
