You're right here to some degree. I'm sure that Camino's introductory stepping wasn't dialed in either making it rather intolerant to spec variances. I didn't intend to dis the overseas vendors either. These type problems are endemic whenever core developers are distant from the implementers as everybody is trying to do their best to both push performance and control cost.

All in all I'd like to restress the main point of these post - that there isn't any systemic problems with this program. I'm impressed that RD ram was a great choice for Intel and that it will do good service for a long time to come.
