It would appear that my biblical reference to the seven year persecution of the Christian was indeed made in error. I was unable to find any such passage in The Book of Revelation. Perhaps I read about such a time period in one of Hal Lindsey's works. At any rate, it should come as no surprise to most people that religious persecution in the form of torture and mass murder occurs on a frequent basis all over the world. Just type in the words 'religious persecution' on your favorite search engine to gain a better understanding of the scope of this phenomenon.
