Me, I wouldn't know.

Pat asked me if you are running it. He said if it's a serious server you will have to go through a lot of conversions to changeover and you may not want to do it.

On the other hand, the "don't fix it if it ain't broke" philosophy only means it's not broke yet....at some point it will be broke. He thinks Linux is more secure but for you it may be a major hassle to switch.

That's all I got. You know me, those conversations have a tendency to glaze over my eyeballs.

I agree with Pat, if your Novell server does what you want it to do, don't change -- it is a whole new world if you want to move to Linux. I would not change it at all, too much difference from what you already have. If you want to start a Linux based network, start a separate server from your current server. They can co-exist -- or so I heard, but I could be wrong. I just run one linux box so I can play with it.
