Sorry - I haven't seen this ad yet...

Let's see, it takes about half a second to even say "Athlon". My lowly 300MHz Klamath PII can execute, oh, let's guess 150 million instructions in that time...

Now assuming that my PII has to first schedule a train reservation for everybody in the state of California - I still don't see the problem. So what's the bitch with this train?

Paul, re:AMD commercial

My first thought when I saw this ad the first time, was that the train should have "Intel(R)" inscribed on the side and the office should be in AMD's corp. digs. (my fantasy continued by replacing the idiot at the computer with J. Sanders and replacing the commentator from 3rd Rock From the Sun with one of the CNBC "talking heads" <VBG>.
